Working for a large multi-national business that operates in a variety of different markets with a huge number of brands meant lots of technical challenges. We found that resources were often tight and that in turn meant product development was compromised.
We knew that to be a truly globally organisation we needed to re-consider the way we delivered our online products technically and decided to look into a shared platform in which all our products would sit.
It was my job to work directly with the different market stakeholders to ensure we were delivering a product that not only worked for everyone, but one that worked well and provided our users with a great experience. The project had lots of challenges but was probably one of the most rewarding, as it was extremely satisfying looking back and reflecting on its success.
